Third Annual Northeast Sidecar Social

We will be meeting, as usual, at the Hannaford Supermarket on Rt 26 in Gray at 8:30. The Ride to Nowhere will leave about 10:30. For those dropping their rigs at the farm, Chris Jordan will lead a ride to the Gray meeting spot at 8:30-ish AM. This year’s route is shorter than last year’s, only about 35 miles from Gray to the farm. For those leaving from the farm the total mileage will be about 62 miles.

The Lobster Bake:

This will be a traditional Maine Lobster Bake, consisting of Lobster, corn on the cob, hard boiled eggs, (that’s how you know when the lobster is done) sausage and whatever else we can scrounge. The cost for the lobster bake is $20 for one lobster, $30 for two lobsters. Please reach out to Mike Lydon below to let him know how many lobsters you’d like, or if you’ll be bringing your own food to grill!

For those who don’t fancy seafood, you may bring whatever you like for grilling. There will be a grill available for those who wish something other than seafood.

This is to invite any riders who may be interested in sidecars, but have not made the leap of faith to actually commit to owning one, to join us for the Sidecar Social. This is a chance for the timid ones to actually see some sidecars, touch some sidecars, and have any questions they may have about sidecars, answered. Or, if you just want to come for the lobster bake, that’s ok, too.

If you are returning a second or third time, welcome back.

If this is your first Social, we can’t wait to meet you.

Trailering your rig to the Social:

Last year there were several requests from folks who may be trailering their rigs to the event. We had one who trailered their rig to the event. The Ocean House Farm is graciously hosting the event again this year and can accommodate up to eight rigs for folks who would like drop their trucks/trailers.
